New Book: Against Illiberalism

My new peer-reviewed book is out and can be purchased at Amazon.

Against Illiberalism: A critique of illiberal trends in liberal institutions, with a focus on Unitarian Universalism

It is an extension and betterment of an earlier same-named paper, and includes additional important chapters plus two excellent essays by UU Minister Rev. Munro Sickafoose and UU author Jim Aikin.

A UU Minister wrote, “It is by far the most well-reasoned, well-researched, and concise criticism of the rise of woke ideology in Unitarian Universalism.”

Another UU Minister, professor emeritus and Harvard Divinity School graduate wrote, “I agree with every word!  You have been unusually thorough and even-handed. It is a solid contribution to rectifying the cultural craziness.”

Rev. Fischer is having his congregation read it this upcoming year.  And my hope is that it is widely read by UU laity, many to most of who do not fully understand what is going on in UU these days or understand the “new theology” out of Boston.
